dogwithglasses sent: you are correct, Chrono Trigger was released for the PSX in Final Fantasy Chronicles, alongside Final Fantasy IV. it has added anime-style cutscenes that were not in the SNES version, but it has very bad loadtimes. the game is also available on the DS, on the Playstation Network, and on the Nintendo Virtual Console. the DS version has extra dungeons, the PSN version is the PSX version with bad loadtimes, and the Virtual Console version is the SNES one that's missing the anime cutscenes.

man, chrono trigger is just available everywhere! and it should be, everyone needs to play that game. now that you mention it, I do remember nearly buying the DS version several times, but never actually doing it.

I’ve been searching for a copy of FF Chronicles that is somewhat affordable, with no luck… it’s two of my very very favourite games in one.
