also google tells me its a gamestop exclusive in north america wow how does it feel for -you- to get the short end of the stick for once

for reals find a way to play xenoblade its so damn good. 100+ hours logged :/ also you could just softmod your wii to play burned/import stuff its super easy

Canada may get a longer stick than Australia but we usually get pretty short sticks when compared to the US :(

But yeah I think that is what I am going to have to end up doing at this point wah

Yeah when I go to Nintendo Direct it just tells me to get Xenoblade from these chumps and it’s not available used or new, even online (edit: nor is it available in any form in any stores within 100km of me ahahahaha)

It’s at the point where I’ve gone into my nearest EB Games/Lamestop so often and frequently looking to see if a used one has turned up that the workers shake their heads at me saying “No Xenoblade” when I walk in :(

i dunno do you have a “Nintendo of Canada” or does NoA handle all your stuff?

Nah it’s a NoA thing but every so often we won’t get something or it’ll be late because of French language laws.

i thought over there you could get it direct from the nintendo website or something

WHAT REALLY??

(I hope by “over there” you mean Canada as well as the US cos if it’s a US only thing I’ll cry)

Let me know what it’s like for you! It takes a bit to get used to at first if you aren’t used to HFR. It simultaneously felt like an ultra-realistic video game (I guess cos I usually game around 55fps?), some high-def museum footage of nature, and actually being able to each out and touch Gandalf’s woolly itchy robes. And sort of like old episodes of Doctor Who? I don’t get it. But anyway, after that the 3D should hopefully feel really natural and comfy. I just wish I didn’t have to wear 3D glasses over my glasses… they need to get on the glasses-free bandwagon!

ichbinerica said: I LITERALLY JUST ASKED YOU ON YOUR OTHER POST ABOUT THIS. MAYBE I WILL BE ABLE TO SEE IT FINALLY??????

I really hope so!!! But in case you wind up seeing it in 2D/the 3D still burns your eyes out, the 2D is still HFR so you’ll still get to experience this crazy new film format.

its all fun and games until you decide you want to get all the stars

I only just heard about the stars last night after I beat the game and could finally go and read about the game online.

I’m gonna have to get them now. Are they going to give me yet another message that will rip my heart out? WAIT don’t tell me

YES I loved Aidyn Chronicles it was janky as heck but dang it was fun. At least it was, i can’t imagine it’s aged well

Oh, it’s aged HORRIBLY. I’ve played it pretty recently. The worst part is the lighting… maybe it was better on old TVs or something, but the whole thing is so frigging dark. Battles are impossible at night because you literally just have to feel around a black screen. I still have fun playing it despite its many many flaws.

I loved it though. I loved the characters so much! And it even had permanent death. It was really difficult in all the best ways. It’s too bad there’s no chance of it getting remade, because I’d LOVE to play an updated version.

I actually owned it as a kid. My parents bought it for me because it was a Superman game. I think my parents may have hated me. I convinced them to take it back and get me Yoshi’s Story instead and my childhood was saved. But some scars never heal.

Yoshi’s Story was the bessssst. One day I beat it 10 times in a row and I’m still very proud of myself.

Superman 64 is the sort of “gift” I’d give a child if they’d failed a test or something.

i know its cliche to say so but seriously superman 64 is just the worst. though quest 64 sure was terrible.

yeah, I thought of Superman 64 but I haven’t actually played it.

thankfully.

I’ve just had the misfortune of watching a few let’s plays.
